By this Anticipatory Bail Application filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the Applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with CR No.595 of 2025 registered with the Kalewadi Police Station, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, for the offences punishable under Sections 109(1), 115(2), 189(1), 189(2), 191(2) and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 135, 37(1) and 37(3) of the Maharashtra Police Act. The prosecution case is set out in Paragraph No.2 of the Order dated 19th August 2026 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, in Criminal Bail Application No.984 of 2026, which reads as under: “2] The First Information Report was lodged by the informant, Suraj Yadav, alleging that the incident took place on 11th December 2025 at around 1:30 a.m. At the time of the incident, all the accused persons allegedly assaulted the informant with sticks and gave kick and fist blows, as he was not attending the marriage ceremony of sister of Sunny Yadav. The incident was reported to the police station. Based on his report, crime No. 595/2025 was registered. He is apprehending arrest at the hands of police. Hence, prayed for protection.” 4. Thus, the incident had taken place on a very small issue of not attending the marriage ceremony of the sister of the friend of Accused No.1. 5. Perusal of the record shows that the incident has taken place on a very minor issue of not attending the marriage ceremony of the sister of the friend of Accused No.1. 6. There are two criminal antecedents against the Applicant. 7. The Charge-sheet has already been filed against the other Accused. Page 2 Arjun 46-ABA-2470-2026.DOC 8. Although there are two criminal antecedents against the Applicant, in the facts and circumstances, case is made out for grant of anticipatory bail. 9. In view thereof, the following Order is passed: O R D E R (a) In the event of arrest of the Applicant - Ajit Virendra Yadav in connection with CR No.595 of 2025 registered with the Kalewadi Police Station, Pimpri- Chinchwad, Pune, the Applicant is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing PR Bond in the sum of Rs.30,000/- with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount. (b) The Applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station, as and when necessary and shall cooperate with the investigation. (c) The Applicant shall furnish his cell phone number and residential address to the Investigating Officer and shall keep the same updated, in case of any change thereto. Page 3 Arjun 46-ABA-2470-2026.DOC (d) The Applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat, or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade such a person from disclosing the facts to the Court or to any Police personnel. (e) The Applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and shall not contact or influence the Complainant or any witness in any manner.
