According to petitioner, pursuant to order dated 20.09.2025 passed by District Magistrate, Nainital in proceedings under Section 14 of SARFAESI Act, petitioner deposited ₹42,222/- with the SSP, Nainital, however, police force has not been provided so far. 4. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent No. 2 to provide adequate police assistance to the Petitioner Bank for taking physical possession of the secured Asset in pursuance of order dated 20.09.2025 (Annexure No. 2) (Page No. 27 to 29) passed by District Magistrate, Nainital under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 arising out of the case of Non Performing Asset UKHC010130222026 2026:UHC:6420 of Respondent No. 5 to 7 for which requisite fee-cum-Challan has already been deposited by the Petitioner in favour of S.S.P. Nainital. 5. Having regard to the relief claimed, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make representation before Senior Superintendent of Police, Nainital. If he makes representation within one week, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within four weeks thereafter.
