Choudhury, learned Senior counsel assisted by Mr. A. M. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. S. H. Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. This petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed for granting the privilege of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner, namely, Abdullah Shekh@ Abdul Moulana, apprehending arrest in connection with Jogighopa P.S. Case No. 74/2026 u/s 64(2)/351(2)/117(2)/3(5) of BNS. 3. As per the FIR, the accuse no.1 who is the son of the petitioner has been blackmailing the informant lady for several months and also established forceful physical relationship with her. On 23.05.2026, when she went to the house of the present petitioner, father of the accused no.1, the petitioner had conspired and sent to the accused no.1 to some other place and that subsequently, they assaulted her physically and drove her out of the house. Other than the above, there are no allegation against the present petitioner, who is the Headmaster of a School. 4. Having regard to the above, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not considered to be necessary. 5. Accordingly, the prayer for pre-arrest bail is allowed. 6. It is directed that in the event of arrest in connection with this case, the accused-petitioner, named above, shall be released in connection with Page No.# 3/3 Jogighopa P.S. Case No. 74/2026 u/s 64(2)/351(2)/117(2)/3(5) of the BNS, 2023, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.50,000/-(Rupees Fifty Thousand) with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority, subject to the conditions: (a) The petitioner shall appear before the I.O within a period of 10 days from today, (b) The petitioner shall not try to influence or intimidate the witnesses in any manner. 7.
