JUSTICE CHANDRA SHEKHAR JHA ORAL ORDER 2 23-02-2026 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State. 2. The accused/petitioners apprehending their arrest in connection with Bannubagicha P.S. Case No. 39 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 127(1), 115(2), 109, 85, 352, 351(2) of BNS. 3. As per FIR, petitioners alleged to commit mental and physical cruelty upon the informant alongwith co-accused persons/family members including her husband out of Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10681 of 2026(2) dt.23-02-2026 2/3 domestic issues. 4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners that petitioner no. 1 is mother-in-law whereas petitioner no. 2 is elder brother-in-law and petitioner no. 3 is the wife of petitioner no. 2. It is submitted that allegation qua petitioners for committing mental and physical cruelty appearing very much general and omnibus in nature. It is submitted that petitioners found involved in one more criminal case, where they are on bail. 5. Learned APP opposed the prayer of bail. 6. In view of aforesaid factual submissions and by taking note of fact as allegation qua committing physical and mental cruelty appears very much general and omnibus against petitioners, who are in-laws, accordingly, all above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned trial Court, within a period of four weeks of the order, is directed to be released on bail furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai/concerned Court, Patna High Court CR.
