Admittedly, the petitioner has already preferred an appeal against the grant of patta in favour of the respondents 5 to 8 by the third respondent, before the second respondent. The said appeal was filed by the petitioner on 14.11.2025. 3. The only limited relief that can be granted in this writ petition is to direct the second respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 14.11.2025 filed by the petitioner, aggrieved by the issuance of patta in favour of the respondents 5 to 8 by the third respondent within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, by adhering to the principles of natural justice. 4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 10446 of 2026 petitioner’s appeal dated 14.11.2025, seeking for cancellation of "Natham Patta" No.1801 issued in favour of the respondents 5 to 8, after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 to 8 and any other third party, whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire, by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
