Mr. Shueb Ali, learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. Mr. S.C. Dumka, learned A.G.A. for the State. 3. The petitioners are the senior citizens and has an apprehension of threat to their life and property from their own son the respondent no. 4- Shobhit Agarwal and seeking protection by the instant petition. 4. Both the petitioners join the proceeding through V.C. 5. There is some dispute in between the petitioners and their son, which is pending for adjudication. It is alleged that the respondent son is creating nuisance giving threatening and compelling them to transfer all the properties in his name. With regard to such an apprehension of threat the representation is made to the S.S.P. on 09.06.2026 Annexure-7. 6. The S.H.O. join the proceeding through V.C. and is instructed to visit the house of the petitioner along with some lady police official and interact with them and advise to both the parties not to take law in their hands. 7. The S.S.P. shall also assess the threat perception, if any, to the petitioners from the respondent no. 4 and if it is found that there is any threat from respondent no. 4, take appropriate steps to ensure their life and liberty. 8. The respondent-son who also has joined the proceeding through V.C. is also directed not to UKHC010116482026 2026:UHC:6327 create any nuisance with his parents. 9. Simultaneously, the petitioners being a senior citizen have a privilege to get for all safety under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, and in terms of section 22 the District Magistrate is the authority to take all measures to ensure to protect the life and property of senior citizen. The petitioners shall immediately approach to the District Magistrate and raised their grievances in writing and on such representation the District Magistrate shall look into and take appropriate measures in terms of section 22 of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. 10. The S.H.O, who also joined V.C., is directed to monitor the situation so that the respondent-son may not create any nuisance and also apprise the District Magistrate about this order so that the District Magistrate may immediately make the arrangement for the safety of life and liberty of the petitioners. 11.
