The petitioner has filed the present writ application praying for a direction upon the respondent authorities to provide the copy of policy certificate being policy no. 494743395 corresponding to proposal being no. 022446 dated December 30, 2010 with the review slip. Learned counsel for the petitioner further prays for a direction for providing the details of the information about the refund of Rs. 13,231/- dated December 31, 2010 which was paid by the respondent LICI authority to the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the respondents raised objection with regard to the maintainability of the present writ application. He submits that on the earlier occasion, the petitioner has filed the writ application being WPA 19087 of 2025 and in terms of the order passed by this Court dated January 3, 2025 in the above writ petition; the insurance company has passed a reasoned and speaking order on February 18, 2025 by rejecting the claim of the petitioner. 3. Being aggrieved with the reasoned order dated February 18, 2025, the petitioner has preferred a writ application being WPA 14302 of 2025 and this Court dismissed the said writ 2 application on August 6, 2025. At the time of hearing of the said application, it was the specific case of the respondents that the policy no. 494743431 is the fake one and the policy being no. 494743395 is the original one. 4. Now the petitioner has made a representation to the respondent authorities for supply of copy of the policy certificate being policy no. 494743395. 5. Learned counsel for the respondent authorities has handed over a communication dated October 16, 2025 and submits that the insurance company by a letter dated October 16, 2025 informed the petitioner with regard to the maturity payment and the adjustment of the policies but the petitioner has suppressed the said document while filing the present writ application. 6. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the respective parties, this Court finds that the petitioner has made a representation to the authorities for providing a copy of the policy no. 494743395 but this Court finds that the issue has already been decided by this Court by an order dated August 6, 2025. Even if, the petitioner intends to get the said document from the authorities, the petitioner is having some other provisions for getting the said document not by way of a representation or by way of filing a writ petition. 7. Considering the above, the writ application being WPA 29323 of 2025 is dismissed. 8. However, the dismissal of the writ petition will not prevent the petitioner for taking appropriate steps for getting the said document in accordance with law. 3 9. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities. (Krishna Rao, J.)
