3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the conclusion of the trial is likely to take a considerable amount of time and the challan has already been filed. He further contends that the case of the present petitioner does not stand on a lesser footing from that of the co-accused who have already been enlarged on bail. He, therefore, prays that the petitioner may also be enlarged on bail, particularly in view of the fact that he has been in judicial custody since 08.04.2026. 4. Learned Public Prosecutor vehemently opposes the bail application. 5. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record. 6. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and having regard to the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties, as also the fact that the co-accused have already been enlarged on bail, and that no criminal antecedents of a similar or any other nature have been attributed to the petitioner . Further the offences are triable by Magistrate and the challan has been filed, this Court is of the opinion that the bail application filed by the petitioner deserves to be accepted. 7. Consequently, the bail application is allowed.
