This bail application has been filed on behalf of Punai Oraon who is in custody since 15.09.2025 in connection with Chanho P.S. Case No. 143 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 3484 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 69 of the BNS, 2023 pending in the Court of learned J.M., XXII, Ranchi is pressed into motion. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the prosecutrix is a major lady, 31 years age, and as per the FIR, there was consensual physical relationship for last one and half years on a false promise of marriage. It is further submitted that the petitioner as well as the prosecutrix are major and adults and no complaint was made to any quarter regarding ongoing relationship. There is delay of one and half years in lodging the FIR. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
