Petitioner is challenging order dated 20.09.2018 passed by State Government under provision of Municipalities Act, 1959. By the said order, petitioner was disqualified from contesting election for a period of four years. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that four years period for which petitioner was disqualified is over, as the impugned order was passed in 2018 and now more than eight years have gone by. 4. This Court finds substance in the said contention. 5. The relief sought in this writ petition do not survive. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.
