JUSTICE PRAVEER BHATNAGAR Order 30/06/2026 1. The instant bail application has been filed under Section 483 BNSS on behalf of the accused-petitioner. The accused-petitioner has been arrested in connection with FIR No. 29/2026 registered at Police Station Jawar, District Jhalawar for offence under Sections 8, 20(a) of NDPS Act, 1985. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that contraband article recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner is below commercial quantity. There are no criminal antecedents registered against the accused-petitioner. The accused-petitioner is behind the bars since 19.02.2026 and charge-sheet has already been filed and further trial of the case may take considerable time, therefore, the bail application of the petitioner may be allowed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the arguments advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner and the fact that petitioner is in custody since 19.02.2026 and further trial of the case may take considerable time, therefore, without commenting on the merits of the case, I deem it just and proper to enlarge the accused-petitioner on bail. 6. Consequently, the bail application under Section 483 B.N.S.S. is allowed and it is directed that the petitioner Hari Singh S/o Ghasilal, be released on bail provided he furnishes a personal bail bond in the sum of Rs. 50,000/- with two sureties in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- each of the satisfaction of the learned trial court with the stipulation that he shall appear before that Court on all subsequent dates of hearing till conclusion of the trial.
