Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody since 25.02.2026 in connection with Kharaundhi P.S. Case No.35/2011, corresponding to S.T. Case No.96 of 2026, registered under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code, charge framed under Section 304B/498A of the Indian Penal Code, now pending in the court of learned District & Sessions Judge IInd, Garhwa. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the husband, who was the co-accused in this case, has already been acquitted, and the petitioners are the brother-in-law and sister-in-law of the victim respectively. 4. The case was registered under Section 304B / 498A of Indian Penal Code. 5. This Court finds that there is direct allegation against the petitioners in connection with case instituted way back in 2011. 2026:JHHC:11453 2 Acquittal of the husband of the victim has no bearing in this case, as the petitioners never participated in the trial of the husband. 6.
