PP for the State. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Sukhdeonagar P.S Case No. 647/2025(N). It has been alleged that house of one Ankit Kumar was raided by the police and the petitioner was also arrested. On search 12.60 grams of brown sugar and cash of Rs. 5,82,000/- were recovered. It has been submitted by the learned counsel of the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated only on account of the recovery of the amount of cash which was given to her by her brother-in-law on sale of cattle. The learned counsel submits that the main allegation has been levelled against the husband and the brother-in-law of the petitioner. Learned counsel adds that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and that she is in custody since 11.12.2025. Learned Spl. P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. On consideration of the fact that brown sugar and huge amount of cash were recovered from the joint possession of the petitioner and other co-accused persons, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
