(8)(Junior) (ii)The six-year service qualification prescribed under Rule 3 of the Special Rules of Tamil Nadu General Service is hereby relaxed in respect of the above individuals, in exercise of the powers conferred under the relevant Rules. (iii)The above individuals are granted promotion to the post of Section Officer notionally with effect from the date on which their immediate juniors were promoted. In respect of Tvl.K.S.Manoharan, S.Kandasamy, N.S.Madhana, G.Maragatham and D.Selvi Sarojini Bai such notional promotion shall be subject to the outcome of the Writ Appeals to be filed. No arrears shall be payable for the notional period. (v)The order issued in this case shall not be quoted as a precedent in any other case.” A mere perusal of the above government order would indicate that the orders of this Court has been complied with. Therefore, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
