Also heard Dr Saurabh Kumar Pandey, learned Dy AG, appearing for the respondents/State. 1. Petitioner has filed the present petition with the following reliefs:- “10.1 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ(s), order(s), direction(s) by giving direction(s)/order(s) to the prosecution/police authorities/respondents for completion of the investigation and enquiry as early as possible and further step as per Criminal Procedure Code against the accused person is required to be taken. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct Enforcement Directorate to continue the investigation and take legal steps regarding the ECIR filed by the Enforcement Directorate Raipur. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct any superior authority other than Superintendent of Police, Korba, District Korba (C.G.) to investigate properly into the matter. 10.4 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Director General of Police to initiate a departmental enquiry against Superintendent of Police, Korba, District Korba (C.G.) for non compliance and direct contempt of the Trial Court Korba and for filing misleading affidavit on 10.02.2026 before this Hon'ble Court. 10.5 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the concerned departments to make compliance with the order of Trial Court Korba and CJM Court Korba and submit the report before this Hon'ble Court within 7 days. 10.6 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Chief Secretary to look into the matter personally and submit the report before this Hon'ble Court within 7 days.” 2. Learned State counsel would submit that pursuant to order passed by this Court in WPCR-48 of 2026 {Ankit Singh (in person) Vs State of Chhattisgarh and others} on 11.02.2026, learned Chief Judicial Wpcr 221 of 2026 3 Magistrate, Korba passed order dated 20.02.2026, in which the supplementary closure report filed by the Superintendent of Police, Korba has been rejected, and the learned Court has again directed to reinvestigate into the matter. Thereafter, supplementary closure report bearing No.2-B/2026 has been filed and the same was presented in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Korba on 20.04.2026 for acceptance, receipt of which was taken vide Challan No.102/26. Copy of the letter dated 21.04.2026 sent by the Police Station-Kotwali, district Korba has been submitted by the learned State counsel which is taken on record. 3. In view of above submission made by the learned State counsel, this Court finds no scope for interference in the matter. 4. Accordingly, present petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to the remedy available under the law, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the contents or findings of the above supplementary closure report. 5. The learned Magistrate concerned is directed to consider the said supplementary closure report properly and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after hearing the necessary parties.
