This Contempt Case is filed against the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the interim order dated 07.05.2026 passed by this Court in W.P. No.11419 of 2026. 2. The learned counsel for the contemnors submits that, in compliance with the orders dated 07.05.2026 passed by this Court in W.P. No.11419 of 2026, the contemnors have passed orders dated 11.08.2026, the relevant portion of which reads as follows: Accordingly the requests made by Sri A. Seshagiri Rao in his representation dated 27.02.2026 are disposed of as follows:- Requests at (1) and (3) of his representation are rejected, as promotion before his superannuation on 31.01.2027 cannot be considered. As far as request (2) is concerned, this Hon’ble court’s direction to consider his representation has been complied with and the disciplinary enquiry is completed and the enquiry report has been communicated to the charged officer vide Govt.Memo.No.2570080, MA and UD (vig.III) Dept. dated 05.08.2026. After receipt of the written representation from the charged officers, the disciplinary case will be concluded. 3. The learned counsel submits that no further orders are required to be passed in the present Contempt Case. 4. Considering the said submission and the orders dated 11.08.2026 passed by the contemnors, this Court is of the opinion that there is no willful disobedience of the interim order passed by this Court. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed, granting liberty to the petitioner to question the orders dated 11.08.2026, if he is aggrieved by the same, by initiating appropriate separate proceedings, in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
