Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State. The petitioner is an accused in S.T. Case No. 195 of 2025, arising out of Tapkara P.S. Case No. 06 of 2025. The marriage of the daughter of the informant was solemnized with the petitioner. It has been alleged that there was a demand of Rs. 5 lacs and a car and on non-fulfillment of the said demand the informant was strangulated to death. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the deceased had committed suicide and as per the postmortem report the cause of death has been opined to be asphyxia due to hanging. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that no injuries were found on the person of the deceased and in fact charge-sheet has been submitted u/s 92 BNSS. Learned counsel adds that the petitioner is in custody since 30.08.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts and the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned D.A.S.J.I, Khunti in S.T.
