ORAL ORDER
1. In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for the following relief/s:
“i. Issue an order or direction or writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondents, more particularly the 4th respondent herein to consider the representation

of the petitioner dated 17.01.2026 marked at Annexure-F, and to direct the 4th respondent to issue moment order and to allow the petitioner to work at K-4 Sub-division, Kengeri. ii. Issue an order or direction or writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release the pending salary of the petitioner. iii. Issue any Order or Orders as deems fit and proper including the cost of the proceedings, in the interest of justice and equity.”
2. The case of the petitioner is that he was initially appointed as Station Attendant, Grade–II, in the year
2007. Thereafter, he was promoted as Junior Engineer and posted to Kolar, and later transferred to Hassan. On 03.07.2023, respondent No.1 issued an official memorandum vide Annexure–A transferring the petitioner from Holenarasipura, Hassan, to Sunkadakatte Division, BESCOM, Bengaluru. On 25.07.2023, the Superintendent Engineer, Bengaluru, passed an official memorandum vide

Annexure–B posting the petitioner to K–4 Sub-Division, BESCOM. On 19.08.2023, the Assistant Executive Engineer, vide Annexure–C, posted the petitioner to N–6 Sub-Division, Kamakshipalya, and on the same day, the petitioner reported at N–6 Sub-Division, Kamakshipalya. On 01.01.2026, the Assistant Executive Engineer, BESCOM, issued an official memorandum vide Annexure–E relieving the petitioner from N–6 Sub-Division, Kamakshipalya, and directing him to report at K–4 Sub- Division, Kengeri. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 17.01.2026 vide Annexure–F to respondent No.4 seeking issuance of movement order. Since the said representation has not been considered by respondent No.4, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. The petitioner has been transferred by order dated 01.01.2026 to report at K–4 Sub-Division, Kengeri. However, the movement order has not been issued thereafter. Under these circumstances, it would suffice for

this Court to direct respondent No.4 to consider the representation vide Annexure–F, in accordance with law.
4. In view of the above, following order is passed:
ORDER a) The writ petition is disposed of. b) Respondent No.4 is directed to consider the representation dated 17.01.2026 vide Annexure-F, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than two weeks from date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
