JUSTICE REKHA BORANA Order 30/06/2026 1. The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer to correct the petitioner's date of birth in the service record, from 05.06.1966 to 05.06.1967. It has been submitted that in fact the documents submitted by the petitioner at the time of appointment i.e. School Certificate as well as Date of Birth Certificate, reflected the date of birth to be 05.06.1967 but erroneously, the same has been recorded by the respondent Authorities to be 05.06.1966. 3. Yesterday, while arguing, Counsel for the petitioner submitted that because of the erroneous recording of the date of birth, the petitioner is sought to be retired on 30.06.2026. 4. In view of the above submission, the matter was directed to be listed today as a first case, while directing Counsel for the respondents to call for the original service record of the petitioner. 5. Today, Counsel for the respondent Department has furnished the original service record of the petitioner for perusal. 6. A bare perusal of the Service Record reflects that the date of birth filled up in the said record by the petitioner himself is 05.06.1966. Further, the Original Transfer Certificate (TC) reflects a clear manipulation in the date of birth. Even when viewed from a naked eye, the fabrication is crystal clear not only in the date of birth but also in the years of age as mentioned in the next column of the certificate. 7. In view of the above, crystal clear manipulation/fabrication, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present writ petition and the same is hence, dismissed. (REKHA BORANA),J 32/RAHUL
