Mr. Ghanshyam Joshi, Additional Chief Standing Counsel and Mr. Pan Singh Bisht, Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Since common questions of fact and law are involved in these petitions, therefore, they are clubbed together and are being heard & decided by a common judgment. However, for the sake of brevity, facts of WPMS/2247/2026 alone are being considered and discussed. 4. Petitioner filed a suit for permanent injunction in the month of February, 2026 before Civil Judge (Senior Division), Ramnagar, Nainital. Petitioner also filed an application seeking temporary injunction in the said suit on which notices were issued to the defendants. 5. Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that notice issued to the defendant has been duly served and UKHC010130552026 2026:UHC:6432 defendant has also put in appearance before the Trial Court, however, no order has been passed on the temporary injunction application. It is contended that threat of forcible dispossession from the land in question is looming large over the petitioners, therefore, there is grave urgency in the matter. 6. Learned counsel for petitioners submit that today is the date fixed before the Trial Court and the next date given in the matter is not known. 7. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petitions are disposed of with a request to learned Trial Court to consider petitioners’ temporary injunction application on any date within two weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order before him.
