This revisional application seeks expeditious disposal of Matrimonial Suit No. 359 of 2021 pending before the learned Judge, Family Court, Bankura. 2. Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the suit is one for divorce filed under Section 27 of the Special Marriage Act. It is submitted that despite the same having been filed in 2021, the same is pending. It is further submitted that till date, written statement has also not been filed by the opposite party and the learned Trial Court has been fixing dates for the opposite party to show cause as to why the suit shall not be proceeded with ex parte. 3. In view of the nature of the order proposed to be passed by this Court, direction for prior service of notice along with a copy of the revisional application on the opposite party is not being made, however, the petitioner shall remain obliged 2 to serve a copy of the revisional application along with a copy of this order upon the opposite party within a week from date. 4. Having heard the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner and having perused the material-on-record, this revisional application is disposed of by requesting the learned Judge, Family Court, Bankura to dispose of the MAT Suit No. 359 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one year from the next date fixed without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. 5. C.O. 838 of 2026 stands disposed of. No costs. 6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
