Zaid Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl. P.P. for the State. The petitioner is an accused in connection with NDPS Case No. 26(A) of 2025, arising out of Murhu P.S. Case No. 10 of 2025. It has been alleged that in course of search by the Police some persons cultivating opium were apprehended. One Jakriyas Bodra who was apprehended by the Police had disclosed about the petitioner being the owner of one of the fields in which cultivation of opium was going on. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated on the disclosure made by Jakriyas Bodra. Learned counsel further submits that one of the apprehended accused Surendra Nayak has been granted bail in B.A. No. 3215 of 2025. Learned counsel further adds that the petitioner is in custody since 23.08.2025. Learned Spl. P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the manner of implication and the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Neutral Citation No. ( 2026:JHHC:5701 ) Special Judge (NDPS), Khunti in connection with NDPS Case No. 26(A) of 2025, arising out of Murhu P.S.
