No representation for the petitioner. Mr. P.S. Bisht, Brief Holder for the State. 2. According to petitioner, he is a landless labourer. By means of this writ petition, he has sought the following relief: “To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for allotment of land from the surplus land situated in Village Khurpiya / Bhudagaur, Tehsil Kichcha, District Udham Singh Nagar, declared surplus land under the Land Ceiling proceedings and vested in the State Government as the petitioner being member of the landless Scheduled Cast community.” 3. Having regard to the prayer sought, this Court thinks that ends of justice would be met if petitioner is permitted to approach the competent authority. 4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the District Magistrate.
