UNNI KRISHNAN NAIR ORDER 24/06/2026 Heard Mr. A Hussain, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. B Kaushik, learned Standing counsel, Secondary Education Department. 2. The present Interlocutory Application has been instituted by the applicant, praying for correction of typographical errors occasioning in the order dated 09.06.2026, passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 4573/2024. 3. The applicant has contended that in paragraph-4.1 of the order dated 09.06.2026, the date of appointment of the respondent No. 8 was recorded as Page No.# 5/6 “02.09.1997”. Further, in paragraph-9 of the said order, the date of appointment of the respondent No. 8 was recorded as “02.09.2007”. He submits that the actual date of appointment of the respondent No. 8 is “29.05.2009” and the same has been correctly recorded in paragraph-15 of the said order dated 09.06.2026. Accordingly, the applicant submits that the date of appointment of the respondent No. 8 recorded as “02.09.1997” and “02.09.2007” is to be corrected as “29.05.2009”. 4. The applicant has further submitted that in paragraph-17 of the said order, a direction has been issued to the jurisdictional District Scrutiny Committee to submit its recommendation before the “Director of Secondary Education”. Similarly, in paragraph-18, the “Director of Secondary Education, Assam”, has been directed to initiate and conclude the exercise for compliance with the directions passed in the order. 5. The applicant submits that the authority required to carry out the exercise in the matter, would be the “Director of Elementary Education, Assam”. Accordingly, it is prayed that the term “Director of Secondary Education, Assam” as finding mentioned in paragraphs-17 & 18, be corrected as “Director of Elementary Education, Assam”. 6. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials available on record. 7. On a perusal of the contentions raised in the Interlocutory Application, this Court finds that inadvertent typographical errors have occasioned in the order dated 09.06.2026. Accordingly, the date of appointment of the respondent No. 8 recorded in paragraph-4.1 as “02.09.1997” and in paragraph-9 as Page No.# 6/6 “02.09.2007”, be read as “29.05.2009”. Further, the term “Director of Secondary Education” and “Director of Secondary Education, Assam”, as recorded in paragraphs-17 & 18, respectively, of the order dated 09.06.2026, be read as “Director of Elementary Education, Assam”. 8. The present order be treated to be a part of the order dated 09.06.2026 and be read together for all intent and purpose. 9.
