Also heard Mr. RJ Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State respondent. 2. This is an application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, with prayer for bail for the accused/petitioners, 1. Afridi Ansari, 2. Irfan Ahmed, 3. Ajgar Ali and 4. Sanjib Basfor, in connection with Fatashil Ambari P.S. Case No. 58/2026 registered under Sections 303(2)/3(5) of the BNS, 2023 read with Section 11(1)(a) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. 3. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the 12 numbers of goats that were stolen by the petitioners have already been recovered as per the seizure and investigation. He also submits that the petitioners have been in the custody for the last 24 days as on date and considering the length of detention and the fact that the stolen goats have already been recovered, they be granted bail. 4. It has been submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the case has been fixed today for production of case diary and from the case diary, it is seen that charge-sheet has been filed in this case, vide CS No. 68/2026, dated 23.06.2026. Therefore, the petitioner may approach the learned Trial Court Below with an appropriate application for bail. Page No.# 3/3 5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsels for the parties and also the fact that the stolen goats have already been recovered and the investigation has also been completed since the charge-sheet has been filed by the Investigating Officer and also considering the period of detention, this Court is of the view that the petitioners may be allowed to go on bail. 6. Accordingly, the accused/petitioners be released on bail on furnishing a bond of Rs. 20,000/- each with one surety each of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (M). The accused/petitioners, be enlarged on bail, subject to the following conditions:- (i) that the petitioners shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer, (ii) that the petitioners shall not leave the jurisdiction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (M) without prior permission, 7.
