1. In terms of the order dated 5th January, 2026 writ petition is taken up for consideration in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner and the State respondents.

Mr. Pantu Deb Roy, learned Additional Government Pleader representing the Child Development Project Officer, Gosaba, South 24 Parganas being respondent no.7, on instruction submits that petitioner has been permitted to function as Anganwadi worker under Child Development Project Officer, Gosaba and remuneration is being paid to the petitioner regularly.
3. However, Ms. Pampa Dey (Dhabal), learned advocate representing the petitioner disputes payment of remuneration and it is submitted that full remuneration has not been paid to the petitioner.

4. As the petitioner is permitted to function as Anganwadi worker, Court finds grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition stands redressed.
5. However, it appears from the respective submissions made by the learned advocates representing the parties that full remuneration has not yet been paid to the petitioner.
6. Concerned respondent authorities are directed to take necessary steps to release full remuneration of the petitioner till petitioner functions as Anganwadi worker provided petitioner has not been paid full remuneration.
7. It is again made clear that concerned respondent authorities shall be at liberty to take steps for finding out date of birth of the petitioner based on valid documents on initiating appropriate proceedings.
8. Writ petition stands disposed of.
9. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
