After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they have already filed representation before the District Land Acquisition Officer, Deoghar but the said Officer has yet to take a decision. 3. It is grievance of the petitioner that the land of the petitioners and their ancestors as well as co-sharers were acquired under the Provision of National Highway Act. It is also their grievance that though the compensation has been assessed and the first instalment has been paid to the co-sharers but the petitioners have not been given their shares, though there is decree of partition in favour of the petitioners. 4. Counsel of the respondents submits that the District Land Acquisition Officer will consider the claim of the petitioners after going through the records. 5. In view of the aforesaid submission, I direct the respondent authority to dispose of the representation of the petitioners within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as per law. If the prayer of the petitioners is declined, the reasons thereof should be communicated to the petitioners within a period of six weeks thereafter. 6.
