Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “10.1 That this Hon’ble Court be pleased to call for entire records of the case from the respondents. 10.2 This Hon’ble Court be pleased to direct the respondents to issue appointment order to the petitioner appointing her on the post of Rural Agriculture Extension Officer (Low Vision Category of PWD candidates) with all consequential benefits regarding seniority, salary etc. from the date when other persons under the same category have been appointed ie., from 07.03.2025, within a time bound period, in the interest of justice.” 10.3 That this Hon’ble Court be pleased to direct the respondents to get the disability of the petitioner verified from the Regional/ State Level Medical Board and direct them to issue requisite permanent disability certificate to the petitioner. 10.4 This Hon’ble Court be further pleased to pass such other orders as it may deem fit in favour of the petitioners under the facts and in the circumstance of the case and in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner, pursuant to the advertisement dated 27.09.2023 has applied for his appointment on the post of Rural Agriculture Extension Officer. After following due procedure when select list was published name of petitioner is shown at serial No. 1051 and total 305 posts were advertised for appointment. When the appointment order was not issued in favour of petitioner, petitioner verified upon which she was informed that petitioner has not submitted her permanent disability certificate, but for the temporary disability certificate. Petitioner thereafter has obtained permanent medical certificate from the District Medical Board, Balod and that permanent disability certificate has also been submitted before the concerned authority along with representation dated 16.06.2025. Representation submitted before Respondent No. 3 is still pending 3 / 3 consideration. He also contended that as per his information number of posts are still lying vacant and therefore at this stage Respondent No. 3 be directed to take decision on the representation submitted by petitioner at the earliest. 3. Learned counsel for the respective respondents submit that as the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking direction to be issued to the concerned authority to take decision on the representation, they are having no objection to the limited prayer. If the representation submitted by petitioner is still pending consideration, it will be considered and appropriate orders may be passed in accordance with law. 4. On due consideration of the submission of learned counsel for the respective parties, without entering into merits of the case, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage directing Respondent No. 3 to take decision on the representation of petitioner dated 16.06.2025 in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a further period of 04 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of order passed by this Court. 5.
