Bordoloi, learned Standing Counsel, Revenue Department for the respondent no. 1; and Mr. S.S. Roy, learned Junior Government Advocate, Assam for the respondent nos. 2 & 3. 2. The petitioner has stated that an application filed for mutation in respect of a plot of land measuring 2 Kathas 4 Lessas on 05.02.2026 has not been given consideration by the respondent authorities, more particularly, the respondent no. 3 till date. 3. By an Order dated 17.06.2026, Mr. Roy was requested to obtain instruction as regards the present status of the application and to place the instruction on the next date of listing, that is, 24.06.2026. Today, Mr. Roy has submitted that as per the instruction received from the respondent no. 3 in the Office Letter no. DJC 1/Misc/2025-26 dated 23.06.2026, the mutation application could not be processed further as after obtaining a No Objection Certificate for Sale Permission by the petitioner for purchasing the plot of land in question, which is admittedly under her possession, no registered sale deed which has executed by the petitioner. 4. At this stage, Mr. Gogoi has submitted that the petitioner may be allowed to withdraw the writ petition, with liberty to approach again in the event any new cause of action. 5. The submission of Mr. Gogoi is not opposed by the learned counsel for the Page No.# 3/3 respondents. 6. In view of the above submission of Mr. Gogoi, learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed, with the liberty to approach again in the event of new cause of action.
