Let the report filed by the State be taken on record. The grievance of the petitioners is that a tender notice was issued by the Executive Officer, Paschim Medinipur Zilla Parishad, for the construction of a road that would allegedly encroach upon a portion of the land owned by the petitioners. By an order dated December 10, 2025, this Court directed the State to file a report. Pursuant thereto, the State has filed its report before this Court today. In paragraphs 9 and 10 of the affidavit filed by the State, it has been categorically averred that no construction shall be undertaken on Plot Nos. 1825 and 1826 under Mouza–Ghanarampur, in respect of which ownership is claimed by the petitioners. 2 In view of the aforesaid statement, no further order is required to be passed in the present writ petition. Accordingly, WPA 27546 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
