Nikhil, learned counsel appeared for the applicant and Mrs. L. Monomala, learned GA appeared for the respondents. The present application has been filed with a prayer for advancing the date of hearing of the connected WP(C) No. 733 of 2025 which has been fixed for listing on 16-11-2026. It has been submitted by the learned senior counsel appearing for the applicant that the said connected writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with a prayer for issuing a direction to the respondents for counting the petitioner’s past service rendered as Casual/Muster Roll worker for the purpose of retiral and pensionary benefits. It has also been submitted that the petitioner is going to retire from service with effect from 31-01-2027 on attaining the age of superannuation, and there is some urgency in disposing of the connected writ petition. The learned senior counsel, prays for allowing the present application for advancing the date of hearing of the connected writ petition. Mrs. L. Monomala, learned GA appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that she has no objection in allowing the present application.
