(Oral) Petitioners are serving as a Daily Wager in Gurukul Kangri (Deemed to be University) at Haridwar since 2004-2024. The grievance raised by the petitioners is that despite availability of work, their claim for regularization is not being considered. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that since the work is perennial in nature, therefore, availability of post has to be presumed, even if no post was formally sanctioned. 3. Learned counsel for parties submit that the present matter is squarely covered by the judgment dated 24.07.2026 passed by this Court in WPSS No.1960 of 2026 Anup Kumar Vs. Union of India and Others. 4. However, learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners made representations to Vice Chancellor of the University on different dates, but, the same are rejected by the impugned order dated UKHC010126932026 2026:UHC:6376 2 15.06.2026 by the respondent-University. 5. Learned counsel for respondent-University made a statement at Bar that the Competent Authority shall consider the said representations submitted by petitioners afresh neglecting the impugned rejection order dated 15.06.2026. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of and it is provided that Competent Authority shall take a decision on representations submitted by petitioners afresh, sympathetically, as per law, within eight weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Services of the petitioners shall not be dispensed with only on the ground that they have made claim for their regularization.
