The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- i For issuance of an appropriate Writ in the Nature of Mandamus or any other Writ(s), Order(s) or Direction(s) for commanding upon the Respondent Nos. 1, 2 &/or 3 for lodging an FIR against the persons specifically against Respondent Nos. 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 who were found guilty for misappropriation of funds from the MGNREGA scheme in accordance with the provision of MGNREGA Act, 2005 and in accordance with the provisions of the Annual Master Circular, 2021- 2022. ii. For issuance of an appropriate Writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other Writ(s), Order(s) or Direction(s) for commanding upon the respondents to show cause as to why till date no FIR has been lodged when there is a statutory mandate as per the MGNREGA Act, 2005. 2026:JHHC:2890 2 W.P.(C) No.644 of 2026 iii. For issuance of an appropriate writ directing an independent central investigating agency deemed appropriate by this Hon'ble Court, to conduct a thorough, impartial, and effective investigation into the alleged irregularities, misappropriation of funds, and falsification of official records pertaining to the MGNREGA projects in the petitioner's case, in light of the systemic nature of such irregularities in similar projects wherein the Respondent Nos. 7 to 11 have been a part of. 3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to work out his remedy in accordance with law before appropriate forum. 4. Learned counsel for the other side has raised no objection. 5. Permission is accorded. 6. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid liberty.
