JUDGMENT: (per Manoj Kumar Gupta, C.J.)
1.
The present writ petition has been filed assailing the transfer order dated 29.06.2026, by which, the petitioner who is holding the post of Senior Medical Officer at Sub-District Hospital, Kotdwar, Pauri has been transferred in the same capacity to District Hospital, Dehradun.
2.
The sole contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is a senior employee, therefore, she sought exemption from transfer under Section 7(d) of the Transfer Act, 2017.
3.
Learned State Counsel submits that since the transfer is from non-accessible area to accessible area and not to any remote area, therefore, 1
