JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER It is the claim of the petitioner-Trust that 10 acres and 27 guntas of land in Sy.No.184 and 27 guntas of land in Sy.No.11 of Aralemakanahalli Village, Jadigenahalli Hobli, Hosakote Taluk, are endowed to deity of Bhupathamma Devi situated at Harelemakanahalli. It is contended that the land in question was granted to late Sri.Rama Rao and late Sri.Rama Rao has dedicated the land and the usufructs for the service of Sri.Bhupathamma Devi and the petitioner-Trust is managing the lands and the temple. The petitioner-Trust approached the respondent-Tahsildar to enter the name of the deity in the revenue records. However, the Tahsildar has issued the impugned endorsement at Annexure-P dated 30.12.2016 stating that the land belongs to the Government and the land in question stands in the name of the Government as Dharmadathopu and therefore, the request made by the petitioner-Trust has been rejected. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12558 WP No. 23396 of 2024 2. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned High Court Government Pleader and on perusing the petition papers, this Court finds that the petitioner-Trust has not brought before this Court any material to substantiate the contention of the petitioner-Trust. Therefore, the only remedy available for the petitioner-Trust would be to approach the competent Civil Court to get a declaration of title.
