Petitioner is serving as Medical Officer Homeopathy. She was transferred from Government Homeopathic Hospital Kaatal, Tehri Garhwal to Government Medical Hospital Khanpur, Haridwar vide order dated 08.06.2023. Coordinate Bench of this Court passed an interim order on 21.06.2023, on the strength of which petitioner is still serving at the original place of her posting. 2. Transfer is an incidence of service. Petitioner continued at Kaatal, Tehri Garhwal on the strength of interim order passed by this Court for more than three years. Normally, duration of posting of a government servant at one place is three years. Petitioner was posted at Katal, Tehri Garhwal since 2014 and she served at one place for nearly 12 years. 3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, we dispose of the writ petition with liberty to petitioner to make representation against her transfer 1 UKHC010095022023 2026:UHC:6257-DB to the competent authority. If she makes representation within one week, decision thereupon shall be taken by the competent authority, as per law, within three weeks thereafter. 4.
