Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has inter alia prayed for the following reliefs:- “(i) That writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be also issued, directing the respondents to implement the office order dated 04.04.2026 (Annexure P-1) in letter and spirit and relieve the petitioner immediately from her present place of posting i.e. Government Senior Secondary School Khood, District Sirmour, H.P., so that petitioner could join her duties at the place of her transfer i.e. Government Senior Secondary School Kaula Wala Bhood, District Sirmour, H.P.” 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the transfer order 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:16845 Annexure P-1, dated 04.04.2026, passed qua the petitioner, is not being implemented and she is not being relieved to enable her to join the place to which she stands transferred. 3. Learned Deputy Advocate General, on instructions, submits that the reason as to why the petitioner is not being relieved is the imposition of the Model Code of Conduct in the State in lieu of the Panchayati Raj Elections. He submitted that needful will be done immediately after the Model Code of Conduct is lifted. His statement is taken on record. 4. It is ordered that the petitioner shall be relieved to enable her to join the new place of posting immediately after Model Code of Conduct is lifted in the State. In the interregnum, the transfer order which has been passed, transferring the petitioner from GSSS Khood, District Sirmaur to GSSS K. W Bhood, District Sirmaur, shall not be cancelled or altered.
