According to him, construction has been raised by National Highway Authority of India on excess land than what was acquired. Petitioner approached the Competent Authority, Land Acquisition by making a representation. The competent authority passed an order on 01.07.2025 directing the Tehsildar to hold a joint inspection. 5. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that joint inspection has not been held so far. 6. Learned counsel for respondents, however, have drawn attention of this Court to para 18 of the writ petition, where it is mentioned that site inspection was conducted on 11.04.2026, however, inspection report was not prepared. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the Tehsildar to hold inspection, if already not undertaken, in terms of order passed by Competent Authority, Land Acquisition on 01.07.2025, as per law, within eight weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
