JUSTICE SANJEEV KUMAR SHARMA ORDER 24.06.2026 1. Heard Mr. G. Chamuah, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. M. P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. This application has been filed under Section 483 BNSS, seeking bail of the petitioner, namely, Jahidul Islam @ Jahidul Haque, who was arrested on 31.05.2026 in connection with Jogighopa P.S. Case No. 74/2026 under Sections 64(2)/351(2)/117(2)/3(5) of BNS. 3. As per the FIR the accused no. 1 and 2 are the prime accused of the case who have allegedly been harassing and threatening the informant lady and accused no.1 also established physical relationship with her. However, as far as the present petitioner is concerned the only allegation against him is that, along with others he physically assaulted the victim. 4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits upon perusal of the case diary that the accused assaulted her and drove her out of the house. 5. Having regard to the nature of the allegations, and the period of detention the prayer for bail is allowed. 6. Accordingly, it is provided that the accused petitioner, named above, shall be released on bail of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) with two sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Abhayapuri, Bongaigaon in connection with the aforesaid case subject to the Page No.# 3/3 following condition:- (i) That the accused person shall not try to influence or intimidate the witnesses in any manner. 7.
