By filing the instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is seeking issuance of direction to the respondent No. 3 - Tehsildar, Jarhagaon, District Mungeli (C.G.) to decide the Revenue Case No. B 121/2023-202307251300012 expeditiously. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that aforesaid revenue proceeding has been initiated in pursuance of application filed by the petitioner, but the said revenue case has not been decided by respondent No. 3, Tahsildar, Jarhagaon, District Mungeli (C.G.) whereas the same is pending since 05.07.2023, therefore, he prays that this 2 petition may be disposed of directing respondent No. 3- Tahsildar, Jarhagaon, District Mungeli (C.G.) to decide the aforesaid revenue case within a specific time frame. 3. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to allow the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioner. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. The petitioner has filed order sheets of aforesaid revenue proceedings, which is pending consideration since 05.07.2023. 6. It is sorry state of affairs that aforesaid revenue case is pending since more than 2 ½ years, despite that the same has not been decided yet, therefore, respondent No. 3 -Tahsildar, Jarhagaon, District Mungeli (C.G.) is directed to decide said revenue case by passing speaking order within 45 days from the date of receipt /submission of copy of this order. 7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this petition stands disposed of. 8. Pending interlocutory application (s), if any, stands disposed of.
