The petitioner claims to be receiving three percent additional increment on account of her serving as Headmistresses in the upgraded section of the school with effect from July 1, 2010 in terms of notifications dated 10th February, 2010 and 4th December 2014. She apprehends that in view of the subsequent notification dated 22nd March. 2017, her additional increment may be stopped as has been done in respect of several other similarly placed teachers. 3. The order dated 15th January, 2024 passed by this Court in WPA 6217 of 2021 in the matter of Subir Kumar Ghosh –vs- The State of West Bengal & Others annexed at pages 49-59 of the writ petition has been placed before this Court in support of the submission that the Memo dated 22nd March, 2017 has been set aside by the Court. 4. The petitioner submits that she is receiving three percent additional increment till date as per the fixation made by the District Inspector of Schools. The petitioner alleges that her pay in terms of ROPA 2019 has not been fixed till date. 2 5. Learned advocate representing the State respondents is not ready with proper instruction. 6. In view of the above, the instant writ petition stands disposed of with the observation that the pay of the petitioner shall be fixed by the District Inspector of Schools after taking into consideration the order passed by the Court in the matter of Subir Kumar Ghosh (supra). 7. The writ petition stands disposed of. 8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities. (Amrita Sinha, J.)
