Bharati 02/ 18.02.2026: Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the Central Bureau of Investigation. 2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with R.C. Case No. 03(A)/2026-R for the alleged offences registered under Sections 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended in 2018), pending in the Court of learned A.J.C- I-cum-Special Judge, C.B.I, Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner was transferred from Ramgarh Sub Division to Hazaribagh Sub Division on 27.12.2025 and complaint has been made on 26.12.2025 and verification was completed on the very next date i.e. 27.12.2025 and trap was made after 12 days on 08.01.2025 when the petitioner has already joined the transferred post. He next submits that petitioner was posted as Mail Supervisor, Ramgarh Post Office and informant is the colleague of the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 09.01.2026 and the charge-sheet has been submitted. He then submits that he has got instruction that if the regular bail will be granted the petitioner will not tamper with the evidence. 4. Mr. Amit Kumar, associate of Mr. Deepak Kumar Bharati appearing for the C.B.I opposes the prayer and submits that from the possession of the petitioner Rs. 15,000/- has been recovered which has come in the impugned order and custody is of recent time and in view of that the regular bail may not be granted to the petitioner. Considering that petitioner was transferred from Ramgarh Sub Division to Hazaribagh Sub Division on 27.12.2025 and complaint has been made on 26.12.2025 and verification was completed on the very next date i.e. 27.12.2025 and trap was made after 12 days on 08.01.2025 when the petitioner has already joined the transferred post. The petitioner is in custody since 09.01.2026 and the charge-sheet has been submitted and on instruction it has been pointed out that petitioner will not tamper with any evidence if regular bail is granted. 6. In the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on regular bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty- Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.J.C-I-cum-Special Judge, C.B.I, Ranchi in connection with R.C.
