Longkumer, learned Legal Aid Counsel, for the applicant, who submits that by filing this application, the applicant prays for condonation of 1339 days delay in filing the connected appeal. The learned counsel submits that it was due to bona-fide reasons as stated in the application that the appeal could not be filed on time. He, therefore, submits that the delay may be condoned. Mr. E. Thiba Phom, learned Public Prosecutor, Nagaland, appears for the State respondent and Ms. Esther, learned Legal Aid Counsel, appears for the respondent No. 2, and they submit that they have no objection if the delay is condoned and that the appeal be heard on merits.
