Khataniar, learned Standing Counsel for the Secondary Education Department, Assam. 2. The present writ petition is filed assailing constitutional validity of Section 4 of the Assam Madrassa Education (Provincialisation of Services of Employees and Re-organisation of Madrassa Educational Institutions) Act, 2018, with a further prayer to issue writ of mandamus to consider amending the Section 4 of the Assam Madrassa Education (Provincialisation of Services of Employees and Re-organisation of Madrassa Educational Institutions) Act, 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the Act, 2018). 3. By enacting the Assam Repealing Act, 2020, two Acts, namely, the Assam Madrassa Education (Provincialisation) Act, 1995 and the Assam Madrassa Education (Provincialisation of Services of Teachers and Reorganisation of Educational Institutions) Act, 2018 were repealed. Page No.# 3/3 4. Therefore, nothing survives to be adjudicated in the present writ petition. 5. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands closed being infructuous.
