The present Writ Petition is filed by the petitioners, aggrieved by the action of respondent No.2 in issuing Endorsement Letter No.Nil/2026, dated 16.06.2026, permitting all the villagers to participate in the prayers at the Ramalayam Temple situated at Isukapalli Village, Irlapadu Panchayat, Marripadu Mandal, SPSR Nellore District. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Endowment appearing for the respondents. 3. The petitioner submitted a PGRS application dated 18.05.2026 to provide separate slots for offering prayers on the occasion of Sri Ramanavami Kalyanotsavam, including the three-day Thirunala, and to permit the villagers to participate in their respective slots without interfering with the prayers offered by others at the temple and the said application was not considered. Therefore, the Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to address the PGRS application dated 18.05.2026. 4. According to the respondents, the cause does not survive for further adjudication in the Writ Petition. 5. However, the present Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and pass appropriate orders against the 4 petitioner’s representation dated 18.05.2026, and communicate the decision so taken to the petitioner within a period of one (01) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
