None represents the school authority, the answering respondent, despite service. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the school in not granting child care leave (CCL) to the petitioner on and from January 27, 2026 to February 25, 2026, despite an application made by her on January 21, 2026. 3. It has been submitted that the petitioner has not been intimated as regards the fate of her application. The petitioner has annexed the examination schedule of her son’s Board Examination (Class X) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education for the year 2026. The petitioner has rejoined her services on and from February 26, 2026. 4. As it appears that the prayer of the petitioner for grant of CCL is yet to be formally considered by the school, accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the headmaster of the school to consider the petitioner’s application strictly in accordance with law and communicate the fate of her application. 5. The school shall keep in mind the provision of CCL which permits a teacher to obtain maximum 730 days’ leave for taking care of his/her child. 6. A reasoned decision shall be taken by the school at the earliest but positively within a period of thirty days from the date of communication of this order. 7. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 8.
