This is an application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 praying for release of the petitioner Page No.# 2/2 namely Sikder Mohammad Rafi, on bail in connection with Dhekiajuli P.S. Case No. 140/2026, (Corresponding to GR 660/26) under Sections 299/196(1) BNS. 3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he was found with suspected meat inside at Borsola Model Hospital. The suspected meat was seized and sent for FSL examination, report of which is yet to receive. The petitioner was arrested on 31.05.2026 and has now spent 22 days in custody. 4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor prays for awaiting the FSL report. Although the case diary is available, regardless of the result of the FSL report, having regard to the nature of allegation, further detention of the petitioner is not considered necessary. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is allowed. 5. The petitioner named above shall be released on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of Elaka Magistrate in connection with the aforesaid case.
