The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the failure on the part of the respondent / WBSEDCL to shift the concerned electricity meter. 2. On behalf of the WBSEDCL, it is submitted that there are private disputes between the petitioner and his mother and entire prayer for shifting of the meter is misconceived. 3. Pursuant to an order dated 19 March, 2026, passed by this Court, the petitioner has made a representation on 2 April, 2026 providing an alternative area for placement of the proposed meter. In view of the above, the instant writ petition (WPA 14802 of 2023) stands disposed of Page 2 by directing the respondent / WBSEDCL to consider the suggestion of the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance with law. The above exercise is to be carried out from 4 weeks from the date of service of the order. 4. It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and all questions are left open for the WBSEDCL to decide strictly in accordance with law. 5.
