05/ 03.02.2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P for the State.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Godda (M) Motiya O.P. P.S. Case No. 146 of 2025 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 12 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 22, 25, 27(a) and 29 of the NDPS Act, pending in the court of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Godda.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come on the basis of confessional statement and the brown sugar has been recovered from the possession of Sk. Maruf, Chaitanya Kumar Jha @ Omkar Jha and Nurul Hoda. He next submits that the petitioner has obtained Bachelor of Computer Application and working in VVDN Technologies and in support thereof he refers to the ID Card, which is contained at page-40 of the petition.

Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has come on the basis of confessional statement.

Considering that the name of the petitioner has come on the

basis of confessional statement and Annexure-3 of the petition is the certificate, issued by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, which suggests that the petitioner has obtained Bachelor of Computer Application and further page-40 of the petition is the ID Card, issued by the VVDN Technologies, which further suggests that the petitioner is working in that company, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to surrender before the learned court within four weeks from today and in the event of her surrender / arrest, the petitioner, named above, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty-five thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Godda, in connection with Godda (M) Motiya O.P. P.S. Case No. 146 of 2025 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 12 of 2025, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
