ORAL ORDER
In this petition, petitioner seeks for the following reliefs:-
“ (a) Call for original records in pursuant to the impugned order and perusing the same to issue a writ of certiorari quashing the impugned order bearing No.
¸ÀA.²CAiÉÆÃªÀÄ.CA.PÁ.£ÉûA/2025-26/999 dated: 24.03.2026 passed by the 4th Respondent vide Annexure-R, in so far

petitioner and 5th Respondent are concerned in the interest of Justice and equity.
(b) Consequently, direct to the 3rd Respondent to select the petitioner to the post of Anganawadi Workers, as per the Notification dated: 09.12.2025 vide Annexure-A and the Petitioner is entitled to get all the consequential benefits in the interest of justice and equity.
(c) Pass such other order or orders as this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice.”

A perusal of the material on record will indicate that pursuant to the Online application at Annexure-C submitted by the petitioner for the appointment to the post of ‘Anganawadi Worker’, the respondents issued the impugned Endorsement rejecting the application on the ground that the petitioner had not produced the requisite Domicile certificate.

In this context, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if the impugned order is set aside and the matter is remitted back to the 3rd respondent by reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to appear before the 3rd respondent with all documents including the requisite Domicile certificate, the petitioner would do so and the 3rd respondent may consider the same and proceed

further and publish the final selection list in accordance with law after considering the documents produced by the petitioner. The said submission is placed on record.

In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I deem it just and appropriate to set aside the impugned Endorsement at Annexure-R dated 24.03.2026 and remit the matter back to the 3rd respondent for reconsideration of the application submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law by issuing certain directions.
5. In the result, I pass the following:-
ORDER
(i) Petition is hereby allowed. (ii) The impugned Endorsement at Annexure-R dated 24.03.2026 issued by the 4th respondent is hereby set aside. (iii) The matter is remitted back to the 3rd respondent for reconsideration of the petitioner’s application afresh in accordance with law. (iv) The petitioner shall appear before the 3rd respondent on 30.04.2026 along with all documents including the requisite

domicile certificate etc., who shall consider the same and proceed further in accordance with law.
